Why TIKULA Research Network?

The network was established to provide an information resource platform for SMEs. This followed a number of observations in the ecosystem that appears to lack information tailored for SMEs. The broader business environment is geared towards facilitating information for large and established businesses.

TIKULA aims to: 

• Provide access to information and resources for SMEs on policies and programmes that have an impact on the business environment 

• Collect and share data the business environment and understand trends in the cost of doing business

• Facilitate an open and ongoing dialogue to demystify labels, understand responsibilities and entitlements of micro, small and medium business in the entrepreneurship ecosystem
